KGNA Solutions is looking for a talented and dynamic person to fill the role of Sales Manager - Paradise Show & Design. This is an opportunity to work in an environment that is extremely fast paced, and ever changing. Truly no two days are the same.

Paradise Show and Design is a full-service staging and production company headquartered in Orlando, Florida. We’re experts in large-scale lighting, sound, video and scenic design and build – but never too big to focus on the details of small programs and events.

Our sweet spot is in looking at the whole picture, and seamlessly integrating all elements. For example, designing the big-name entertainment sound and lighting requirements directly into the business meeting, evaluating environments using floor plans and elevations, incorporating business meeting support or special event and hospitality program support. We use our planning intelligence to seek economies of scale and cost savings wherever possible. 

MAJOR PURPOSE 

The Sales Manager will contribute to the execution of Paradise Show & Designs companywide strategies while supporting the Company’s mission, vision and values through all that he/she does on a daily basis.

The primary role of the Sales Manager is to sell the company's production equipment with design elements when applicable on a daily and regular basis.  

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Manager will ideally have an event/production background and possess the ability to generate sales proposals from our production inventory in real time. A firm grasp of Excel to identify and generate production crew spreadsheets based on production schedules, supporting budgetary planning They must be able to approach their work from a multidimensional perspective and thrive working in an environment where there is constant change on a daily and sometime hourly basis. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Target and develop new accounts by building rapport with clients (agencies, production companies, meeting planners, DMCs, 3rd Party clients, show and event organizers, etc.)
  • Represent Paradise Show at industry functions and develop relationships with local facilities and CVB's.
  • Work in partnership with producers and directors and the management team to develop presentations and proposals to win new business opportunities for the company
  • Maintain a working knowledge of sales procedures, pricing, and Paradise Show's processes
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities related to all managed and prospective accounts
  • Work with Paradise Show's Producers/Account Managers to coordinate with others within Paradise Show for all phases of pre- show, on-site and post show project management
  • Interact with all Paradise Show's personnel to ensure a smooth, efficient and profitable event
  • Maintain good working relationships with all groups essential in providing high level service to customers
  • Maintain open and ongoing communication with clients; ask for and encourage feedback frequently to ensure their needs/expectations are consistently met/exceeded
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner, when and where required
  • Become an expert on industry trends to help clients navigate towards more successful events
  • Travel and work long hours when necessary to ensure show success
  • Submit timely clerical documents are requested (expense reports, sales activity)
  • Work with others in the sales department to develop new ideas in order to grow sales on all assigned shows
  • Work with the Sales Team to identify and develop new leads for emerging sectors and markets

REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree or equivalent level of industry experience preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 5+ years consultative account management experience or equivalent, preferably in corporate meetings and name entertainment.
  • Proven ability to quickly identify and address client needs to include upselling solutions to the client
  • Dynamic and influential communication style
  • Travel required – up to 50%
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force (CRM) a plus
